The multi-funtion of this monitor allows you to use it as a TV or as a monitor. There are speakers built in but they do not have the best output. This would make a great for your bedroom especially if you have a desktop computer in there as well. It can be used as an all-in-one entertainment center. You can watch your favorite TV shows, surf the internet and hook up your gaming systems all to the same monitor!
